2013#8 Purple Boa Scarf

We had a grand clean out of the storage room at NGH. That seemed to mean that lots of oddments came home with me. among them 3 balls of Bernat Boa.  This is not so fashionable as it was but there really was little else to do with the yarn except knit a scarf.  It ended up at 6'' by 60''.  A pretty decent length that will wrap around a couple of times.  The yarn is 100% polyester and not nice to knit.  It was very difficult to see the stitch pattern but as it was simple stocking stitch it didn't really matter. The yarn was a pretty purple-red but I don't like the feel of the fabric.  Hope it appeals to someone at the sale.

2013#7 Pink Provence Cardigan

Another baby knit ready for the May arrival

This went together really quickly with no problems. 

It took less than one 100g skein.  There's probably enough for a little hat or bootees but as I bought 2 skeins I'll probably just knit another little sweater.

2013 #6 Kim's Pink Cardigan

I really love this sweater!  The yarn is just so bright and pretty and it knit up really easily.  The pattern was clear and easy to follow.  I think I may make one for me too.

I finished knitting this sweater and then left it waiting to be sewn up.
I went out and bought the buttons yesterday which gave me the required nudge and so now it is finished.
I don't always get things sewn together as well as I would like but this "seamed" to go together well.

The buttons are a pinky orange and match perfectly. How lucky is that!!

2013#5 Baby Hat

I had some yarn left from the first Rainbow blanket so I made this cute little hat. It took about 35 grams of yarn and one evening to make!

2013#4 Baby Skirt

Very simple little baby skirt for the new baby.  I decided to make the 12 month size.  It is quite big and needs to be put away for later on.  No problems atall.  Very straightforward
